About Us

We would love to welcome you into the quiet beauty of what has been a place of worship since at least 1200 A.D.

We love singing, and every Sunday, with alternating morning and evening services. We worship God and pray for our community and nation mainly using the Book of Common Prayer (BCP).

We seek to be a place where in the midst of a busy world, people can drop in to be quiet and pray, discover the presence of God, and find refreshment and restoration in Jesus through the power of his Holy Spirit.

This beautiful grade 1 listed building represents construction from a number of different centuries. The church is accessed through the grounds of Holme Pierrepont Hall and contains many historically significant examples of its strong links with the Pierrepont family, including their familial vault, alabaster monuments and fascinating inscriptions, as well as links to other local historical figures such as Bess of Hardwick.

Whether you are looking to celebrate your wedding service here, find a place to host a retreat, join us for one of the many concerts that take place here, or to visit and learn a little about the history represented in the building, you are invited.
